Signatures for the 1964 photo
The song "The Way We Were", as you all know, sung by Barbra Streisand, is the theme song in the 1973 film bearing the same title. The tune is so moving and the lyric is so incredibly fitting for our blog. So I have downloaded it from YouTube. Take a listen and watch the lyric. It may wet your eyes...
Watch this movie ('The Train', 1964) clip. Try to catch the name the Nazi was calling Burt Lancaster. Did you get it???
You may even want to watch the whole movie. It's a good one!

Labbish!!!
ReplyDeleteBravo, Jean! Yeah, I remembered he started calling himself Labbish the very next day after seeing the movie . But I totally forgot about the movie, until recently I happened to see it on TV. I doubt if he remembers the movie either. The name in the movie is actually 'Labiche' (French).
